Definitely grab one! You can't go wrong with an Earthwing double kick. They always deliver.
Idk if Powell washes ALL of the wheels that leave the factory, but I do know that we send out batches of wheels to get washed after they're de-molded and cooled down, but before printing graphics a...
I really really really really want a blunt 33 now. I've been thinking about it for a hot second. My first real DH board was a 34" EW hoopty with the fiberglass
Cores: The hard plastic piece inside the urethane that attaches to the bearings. Large cores: Large cores tend to decrease the overall weight of the wheel. Less urethane in the wheel...
I would stock up now if you love them because I heard that they are discontinued as Muirskate is merging with Motion Boardshop.
Markers are a super sick mess around at faster freeride speed, or doing some glove downs in the 30-40 mph range. They are at there best for the first 2-3 sesions out of the package wheel IMO. These...
Rad, I'm looking forward to seeing some more wheels tested on it beyond LDP! I'll be on the lookout for the video.
@Zach Maxon Yup, literally have a quick post on this written up and am planning on a vid to go with it. Duro checker comes in today.
@Gabriel Fockler Me neither, I've never seen this type of marketing in DH in a weird way. Just to reiterate, the point at hand is how it MAY be used to promote a product that would otherwise not be...
@Justin Chang oh yeah, up until the last couple of years! I've got a bum leg and I've broken my ankles too many times to really continue it. In fact, the last time I skated park was like January 20...
Oh most definitely. I think that the brand is staying true to its roots - David Townsend is doing a fantastic job with that. I love that the overall focus with Earthwing is simple but functional.
this is my all time favorite video
@Teplitzskate ahh i love crunchie videos so much
@Zach Maxon thanks for showing me Yoni! Love watching the clips. Starting to get into park skating with a 43 inch lmfao. Kyle Tremblay is a big inspiration for me right now. Cool though I didn't kn...
@neilchaudhury insta / austin, tx. Dh, freeriding, garages, ldp, cruising just general chilling

https://www.longboarderlabs.com/anatomy-of-longboard-wheels/X Check out this website, has great graphics to explain the different types of wheel design
A few more definitions/thoughts: Core placement: Center set - the core is in the center of the wheel. Usually seen on freeride wheels. Flipping does not change width. Offset - there is mor...
Check out @woodbooger_freeride on Instagram. It's a 2 mile technical downhill run in Norton, VA. Camping is included. Discounts are available for volunteering! ($70 off for 1 shift, $140 ...
That's a good point. On the other hand, a deal is a deal right? I'm not turning down any discount codes 🤣
The old earthwing stuff was very classic. I remember riding the massive crew crewzer double kick back in like 2012, loved that thing. I love what David Townsend has done with it late...
I posted this on a separate thread, but this is easily one of my favorite skate videos. It convinced me to buy a Hightailer, even. I couldn't skate it as well as Yoni Ettinger, but it was still rad.
Definitely very helpful. An interesting note on durometer - a lot of wheels may be marked as a specific durometer, but will be several degrees harder or softer. Adam Ornelles, who helped design the...
@pinche_primo - SD - Just learning how to skate, want to get into downhill tho 👀 I be at TacoTuesdays and DockSessions
