Gave her an asym chop.edit: The kicktail torque block flexed too much, and it made the board respond slowly to inputs, so I reverted back to the super-stiff cutting board torque block.

@BBL I like the cosmic cores ones, those cores suck. Biggest issue is s9 doesn't make them anymore, otherwise I'd have 3 sets. Great wheel I just prefer the new cosmic cores.
Race formula wheels are still for sale on a few websites and in my experience they have better slide characteristics than the other S9 wheels. Both the round & square lip are very freeride-able...

Check Baifo, new spanish brand selling in europe. Amazing price to performance and several solid shapes. LaPaulade polymers are also great if you want a fast wheel to freeride at a reasonable cost.

Equipment in general is really important in DH/freeride. If you feel you can dial things in better than you should 100% Blake your equipment
