2 sets of wheels for about $30 USD per set is pretty solid. If you've been looking at them, why not pick them up. If you don't like them, just take em out on a hot day and kill them
Look at ebay, their are so many ~20$ wheels out their, some of them prob slide ok. The majority of "cost" the wheel co's is sponsoring stuff and promoting their gear.
Some people stay away from the cheapo's cuz the risk they are bad, some stay away cuz they want to support a brand that supports the community. MOST downhill wheels have similar production cost, and retail cost is not generaly a reflection of that.
Looks like a roll of the dice as to how these would feel. The big core one would core super quick, I've had wheels in that shape before. I'd just buy normal wheels at this point, some purple kevins would be the same price as this deal and be more reliable.
