This run was my first on YT, but the even earlier ones are lost to Vimeo now. I've skated down hills since 2012 and got my first longboard in 2008.
What I remember most from that time is just how many people skated. I could roll up at local spots and see other people skating, or thane lines from other skaters. Now that's just not something that happens.
Also I remember how much better Hawgs wheels were than they are now.
