For your safety, get rid of the Aeras and Powells and get some good DH gear. It's really that bad

If you get rid of the Powells than it's Fair. I wouldn't say it's good
happy board co thunder Lorenzo pro shape (shortest wheelbase)and happy board co torque block, zealous v1 slaloms(124 for now), riptide wfb 73a/73a front 93a/95.5a rear, Powell kevos (yellows, purps...
@Ruben Swanepoel my friend ran an Evo LDP setup which was honestly really good. He really compressed the back truck bushings (made it super tight to replicate a zero degree, to make it a really goo...
@bhr whats stopping you from getting domed
That version of the Gaia was super flat, I didn't care for it at all. Everything else is cool. I feel like maybe a third of the pantheon releases are really nice, and the other ones ...
Don't listen to this guy ^, his setup post was wack. I think that your footstop should be a little more forward. With that small wheelbase and style of setup, you want to be more fully on yo...

@Sk8bored get rid of the trucks and wheels & then the deck is somewhat salvageable Aera & Powell= 🗑️
Rolling Tree Acedia chopped to 9.25" at the widest and 8.9 at inner bolts made a different tail cuz why not. Added a 3 pound hammer (haters gonna hate) and 21" wb.Aera P2 46/20 with wedge and chopp...

Very based setup. Wish I was this based.
@Matt Needs Wheels it do be low
@Gabriel Fockler yah I get it. It's not really a set-up that's relevant in modern racing per say. This is how DH setups used to be, minus the short wheelbase tho, and I like the feel a whole...
@Brian Lugbill ride what you got and have fun. Most people build setups for others to approve.
@Brian Lugbill this board is listed at 9.25 wide and you're putting 170mm trucks on? That's way too wide and you don't have a split? That's just a complete mismatch of how people set up decks like ...
@Gabriel Fockler I mean they are precision DH trucks. Only 5 sets were created and I only know one other person who has skated them. I've skated Paris, Gunmental, Caliber, Sabre & these ...
Prism Theory, Aera K3 46/42, Freeride wheels Recently got onto the theory after riding various boards for the past few years. It quickly and easily has become my favorite board I have ever rode. S...
We have come full circle back to 2009 griptape
@Logan Neikirk i like the seismic rebound and find riptides floppy in k3/k4. Worth a shot if you'd like less rebound. I like the rebound because it auto re-centers my board after sliding.
Like bailey said, I wouldn't go wider than 9. I ride a rocket racetail custom that's just under 9, sitting around 22wb. Very fun for freeride and very stable for downhill.
@GeoffHW I rode narrow zealous on an 18" wb with a 9" deck that tapers to 8.5. They felt great, responsive yet stable
