What wb you rocking on the left-most board. Looks tiny!
This thing looks so rad. I was considering this deck but I wanted something I could drill into for a toestop.
Picked up a new slightly custom Zenit Bullet. It's got a shorter nose and tail, and added flushmounts. Coming from an Earthwing Hoopty R, this board feels much flatter. I'm excited to try it out. I...
@Hunter Howell I used the riptide Randal v2 pivots cups for both configurations
The old savannah slammas from ~2015 would be all i need. Half the price of other wheels, lasts a year... At one point i spent 5 weeks of skate trip in the alps without changing wheels once.
@Teplitzskate @Logan Neikirk I was actually wondering what pivot cups were used as well. I'm trying to figure out which pivot cups to buy, I don't wanna buy two sets if I don't have to
@Logan Neikirk Which Riptide Pivots are you using? Randal Pivots or Caliber Pivots?
@Jefe W "An unexpected" hahahhaha. I´ve seen some people talking about using bells on our wrists too, I think I´ve seen some big skater use them already, maybe Adrien Paynel but I´...
@Teplitzskate I put a cal 3 into a 35 degree Randal plate with riptide pivot cups and it worked great. No need to add tape or anything or the sort. Also Paris v3 work great with the riptide pivots ...
@Hunter Howell So I'm running the stock pivot cups from the 35 Degree Randals on mine. I just wrapped the pivot on the hanger with electrical tape to reduce tolerances. Works great! Pretty stable a...
Clacking pucks like you're trying to cause a diesel combustion between them while vein-bulge screaming ," ON YOUR LEFT/RIGHT SIDE!" as if your life depends on it works most times. Otherwise, ...
Bear anounced on Instagram the release of a new set of trucks with 130mm hangers and 50/30 split, you can preorder them already on their website. https://landyachtz.com/shop/all/skate/bear-trucks/...
@Kurt Derow Looks fun as hell to skate not gonna lie. Also, great board collection!
Board breakdown.
Made an outtakes vid showing off a cool film angle we tried using a 12 foot boom arm attached to the top of a truck. Definitly got creative for this one. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/17xEZiHjm4...
Heya, was wondering if you had to switch out the pivot cups for the cal 3 hangers? If so, what pivot cups did you use?
@F Llabata not at all. I wouldn't skate it without a kick tail and the only wheels that could tackle the conditions were remember peewees. They were kinda grippy still! Chip seal, tar snakes, lumps...
Daaaamn that first road looks skeeetchy, specially for a tech setup. Am I wrong for wanting to skate it?? 😂😂😂
I usually shout something like "overtaking" or "I'm coming" while clapping my pucks and inmediately after I use my whole arm to point the line i'll be taking, since almost everyone will turn around...
I teamed up with a local shop to encourage the pursuit of downhill skating for those who would get inspired by one of these Skate everything downhill styles I find myself getting into. Hope you dig...
@Logan Neikirk Ohhhh I took a look at the Blaze and it looks very very good, lots of short-ish wheelbase options and good width for 150mm hangers with freeride wheels, which I already have.... Damn...
@Chris Ramge Boss hawgs were very cool wheels indeed
@Andrew Todd I just through on some og peewees to tackle chip seal. They were not as slides as I would have predicted. Solved the chip seal problem though and made the road skateable.
@Logan Neikirk it's always tripped me out people race on the Blaze with a drop. Must be more of a drop mount. Basically pushes the flushes through the top of the board so they feel like "drops".
