The Rocket Rhino has the best concave and specs out there. I bought one with a kicktail before they stopped making that version. The kicktail version adds more fun.
Width: 8.85"
Wheelbase: 20.5-22.5" (I custom ordered mine to get 21.5-23.5" wheelbase).
It is narrow, but not too narrow. 150 mm trucks should be fine if you plan on riding freeride wheels. For race wheels, you will want something closer to 120mm wide. I ride mine on Zealous trucks that are 111-124 mm wide. It's a good match, but even on the 124 mm setting the overhang is noticeable on normal slide wheels like Snakes.
The concave feels like home the first time you step on any Rhino, that's why I bought this.
The construction is normal for Rocket : very stiff and very nice. However, I'm a heavy rider and I would not mind an even stiffer construction.
The Rhino KT to the very small Landyachtz El Peligro I was riding before:
After setting it up:
I ended up changing the footstop for a basic bushing style one. I did not feel like I was standing exactly where I wanted to with the Riptide in the pics.
