BUY A REAL DH SETUP my way of learning sucked.
Due to some not sound advice/some possible doubt that I actually wanted to DH. I spent maybe a year on extremely bent, like stance car bent Randals, and a 43in deck that @Josh Hilgart apparantly made work (do not try, not worth) and wheels that would honk and grip like a MFer, if I tried to slide, which I didn't much tbh I'd mostly just bail if I couldn't grip a corner. It hurt a lot. Then I heard that not all wheels slide, and a shorter wheelbase is better. I spent 7 months on a cruiser before going ham on a slick ricker. This is the result of my cruiser grind....
