About the Event:
The Medusa Death Race is a classic midwest longboarding event beloved by the the regional downhill/freeride communities. Every year skaters from across the region gather in West Lafayette’s Happy Hollow park to go head-to-head down Medusa’s narrow, snaking curves.

Safety:
- Helmets and slide gloves are required.
- All other padding is highly recommended.
- Hay Bales will be placed on the corners of turns and at points potentially dangerous for our competitors.
- The bike path is closed to traffic from motor vehicles.
- Volunteers will monitor the path and warn of any obstructions, walkers, or bikers
- First aid will be on hand during the event

9am to 11am - Practice Heats and Registration
11am to 1pm - Racing
1pm to 2pm - Lunch
2pm to 4:30pm - Challenges
4:30pm to 5:00pm - Podium and Prizes
