Skate backpack recs

  • Unless you bring a huge amount of gear- I highly recommend using a snowboarding backpack, they are often low profile, have straps to keep the pack from moving around too much. Bigger backpacks end up having everything go to the bottom and the weight is further from you and all in one place. Sucks for carrying on your back. And in a car it takes up a bunch of room in comparison. Alternatively a lot of people use a bag but that makes gear easier to come out and is harder too move around imo.

The one I personally use is from transworld but that's just since my momma worked for them and got it free and it's not ugly like some of them can be.

  • I personnally use our old cheap stroller bag (CAD$20) that I use for the board and safety gear: https://www.amazon.ca/Childress-Check-Travel-Umbrella-Strollers/dp/B000QWA9F8/

Along with a cheap yoga strap that I tie around the trucks: https://www.amazon.ca/Slim-Panda-Stretch-Stretching-Flexibility/dp/B08T81ZYXJ/

It fits nicely on my back so I can bicycle to my local spots.

    Total investment: CAD$30.

  • @Antoine This is a great idea, what I recomended was geared around holding or being on the board. If I gotta bike to spots I will be using that.

  • @Matt Needs Wheels Sorry, was just added my experience. Forgot to mention that the stroller bag is also meant for travelling, this one is pretty basic but some are padded (which at the end are similar to a snowboard bag I agree). Burton often have snowboard-bags for sale on their website.

  • @Antoine No sorry needed hahaha 😅, I will likely be following that advice soon!
