Luca Oumuamua
- Don't Trip DH Cybins 50/22°
- Mags
- Scythe grip, T-Rex V2, and torque block.
I literally just slapped everything from my Rocket Phoenix onto this deck, including the grip tape (didn't have anything else). I only skated with the torque block on the Phoenix once, that's a new addition as well. The Phoenix was fine without it because it had concave but it's really nice to have it on a flat deck like this.
I didn't put the toe stop on this, it was kinda sketch tbh. And I'm working on standing harder.
It's really a shame that Luca stopped making decks, their construction was super nice and solid.

@Václav M greatings to Prague 🇨🇿
Why did you move away from the Phoenix?
I have one, which I like to call Anna Kurnikova because it looks great but it doesn't perform for me.
@Tino Elter only because it was old cc and worn out. After 6 seasons of skating, the deck was pretty flexy.
I had the exact opposite feelings tbh. I liked to call it yo mamma cause I found it kinda ugly but loved the way it rode (sorry for that terrible joke, I could help myself).
Shortening the wheelbase on the Phoenix in the front (and extending the flush mount) helped a lot, otherwise my foot was either too far away from the truck or in a weird spot in relation to the concave.
@Václav M it shows taste is subjective ☺️.
My experience is, that I prefer other decks for different styles.
- For freeride prefer my Landyachtz Obsidian with AERA RF-1, because it is much more symmetrical than the Phoenix.
- For hands down I like my Mini Threesix with excile hydras.
I tried every combination with the Phoenix but it feels lacking.
Anyway, I like the footage you are putting out on reddit. I wish I had a crew.
