Freakboard

  • Freakboard

    Front mk2(?) valkyrie  @125mm, 45° I think

    Rear cal3 precision @135mm, 30°

    Rocket leon V2

    axle to axle wb: 22.7"

    Why the trucks?

Yea so I got a set of precision cal 3s, 50°/30°. They were alright but not very interesting. My pal let me borrow his old front valk which I've been using for months now and like a lot. It feels real nice. It's supposed to be temporary until I get a new set of trucks but I can't decide what to get.

I do like the front valk, even if its freaky to mix with a rear cal.

Im also just became aware that I could move the spacers on the back to make them both 125mm, but this is how I've been skating them for months lol.

Yea its a real freak, I'm still figuring out what I like.

The yellow krimes are phresh, I have cruised on them ONCE so far.

The torque block is new, I haven't had a proper chance to get a feel for it yet because the weathers aids.

Scottish winter sucks for skating its depressing. Steal me and bring me somewhere nicer, all romantical style.

  • Bruh what do you mean by "weathers aids" and "winter". You live in Scotland, weather is only decent to skate like... 10 days a year and never in the morning 😭.

I've never seen scottish roads hot or dry enough to grip comfortably, not even in summer. Get a waterproof board and rain wheels or just change sport alltogether and get into shinty 🤣.

A part from that, crazy frankenstein board, I like the thrashy griptape work, very fitting.

Greetings from Spain, where it is so hot and dry that the asphalt sometimes melts your pucks. The complete opposite side of the spectrum.

  • @F Llabata steal me away to your unbearably hot and dry weather any day of the week 😭🥺 <3

  • The truck situation is atrocious.

The massive footstop and concave inserts on a singlekick are pretty rough to look at as well. Pretty harsh mishmash of racing style accessories on a "surf's up" shape.

The fact that the tail has that skid plate on it suggests that you want to ollie, but that whole footstop situation would be very bad for that.

The whole thing is spiritually confused. I would consult with a priest.

  • understandable 🥺
