Seismic Wheels

  • It's obvious by now. Seismic and its defcon formula, is the greatest in the world. I'm sure the vast majority of you agree.

  • I dare say that the g-loc Delta formula surpasses DefCon in performance, durability & both grip + the slide

G-Loc was designed for high rebound and speed retention, with availability in 73.5A and 75.5A durometers

    the stuff is next level

  • @Jefe W

ok fair enough, I haven't tried Deltas. Thanks for the input. The formula is based on the DEFCON & is very similar. I'm still riding the same defcon speed vents I got back in 2014. High rebound, fast, slides smooth, absolutely perfect. Seismic used to be behind Venom in the early 2010's in terms of Performance but now I think it's clear, Seismic makes the best wheels on the planet.
Btw you are from Spain?.. If you see Rafa or Tato, tell them that Lugz says wassup.

  • @BBL nah, Nashville . @musiccitydh 😉

    speedvents are dope.

I'd say for past 2 seasons including this one , Seismic is the dominant wheel in racing.

  • @BBL Big agree, the only reason ive personally not bought them (been through a few scrubs tho) is  cost.

  • @Matt Needs Wheels

warehouse skateboards (online) has 78mm blast waves in defcon formula for 71$ if that helps at all

  • @Matt Needs Wheels

honestly, me n my crew were pretty strapped when we bought sets last year. they have turned out to be exceptionally valued w the increased durability.  the yellow ones are lasting far longer than mags ridden as far past the skin  & still performing .  any wheel costs too much but now we need to milk as much per set as possible unless u on flow...

  • @BBL still damn steep.

  • @Jefe W I ride kevos or podiums as a better value option personally, though ill say I'm no speed racer so I don't need the same benefits of seismic some others may need.

  • @Matt Needs Wheels

Yah to be fair I've never bought seismics & I've been riding them most of my lyfe

  • @BBL yeah, I've inherited my share of scrubbed race wheels . I have friends & acquaintances who race so I can usually snag some 2-4 run sets after race events . Deltas = perople get em , use TF out of them & don't want to really let go of . I bought green & yellow sets when  they came out cuz I knew they'd last me a good while . I even let my bromie run the new skin off the yellow set ,racing at Soldiers of Downhill last fall (2 runs)  & they still grip like mad for me .  After the skin begins it's slow degradation on the yellow 73.5a deltas - 5-10 runs - they have one of the most gratifying & responsive slide characteristics I've experienced on a >70mm wide race wheel.

to each their own : I like podiums & have gone thru several sets of red Kevin's personally..mthose are both good wheels respectively, & for certain use cases , but neither are going to be competitive at 2025 racing lvl .
