The East Coast Race and Freeride
Part of the North American Downhill League 2025 Eastern Conference.
Acme Downhill is an OG downhill skateboarding and gravity sports event that started in 2011. In 2025, this event features camping, partying, food, shopping / vendors, freeriding and most importantly racing,
This event is amazing for spectators and is easy to attend, with access from NYC via public transit (see below).
Acme is a fairly short course, with 3 major hairpins, but with large wheels, riders can reach upwards of 50+ mph. This course is not just great for pros, it's also great for intermediate riders and beginning racers, especially because of the NADL rules which put people in brackets based on their skill level.
THIS EVENT ALSO FEATURES PUMP TRACK SESSIONS, WHICH RIDERS GENERALLY HIT AFTER THE RACE AND FREERIDE ARE OVER FOR THE DAY.

Lodging
We recommend that you camp at the event if you're driving in, since that's where so many shenanigans and the party happens.
Obviously it would be kinda hard to camp if you're flying in so thankfully there's a few place that you can stay:
- Airbnbs - These are going to be around $100/night per person. There's a lot within a 30 minute drive from the event.
- Hotels - Port Jervis has the Erie Hotel, which is a fair price at around $130/night and you're in town. Split a room with the crew and it's really pretty fair.
- If struggling to find a cheap hotel, check in the town of Matamoras and Milford in PA. They're both very close-by.
- Renting a Car - We recommend using Turo. It's basically Airbnb for cars and you don't have to wait in any lines. Pricing is more transparent and you get to pick your car (rent a Fiesta ST if you can :^)
Prizes?
This year, the industry really hooked it up. There's hella gear going out to riders as prize for their skating abilities, but also likely as a raffle. For racing, there's an $800 cash prize for the winner of the top bracket.
ALSO FOR THIS YEAR, WE'LL HAVE FOOD AND VENDORS, WITH EASY ACCESS TO TOWN IF YOU NEED ANYTHING ELSE.
