first time trying downhill skating. Any tips on my form?
I gave her tips in person, but I don't know everything, anyone else want to chime in?
Form looks solid, just try to put more weight into the board, specifically front foot, by leaning off slowly in your precarve and keeping your chest over the front leg which you did, and try to put less weight into the hand on the ground, it should be just enough so that you don't fall over into that side.
@Diego Murray ahhh thank you Diego. Leaning forward is kinda freaky but I'll keep trying
Give yourself another bit to pick up some more speed too, that'll help!
Not gonna lie, I'd pick a different spot on the hill - having the manhole cover there would definitely get in my head, especially if I was learning. Don't feel too bad about falling on that slide!
@David Serate Thanks for the tip. :)
I think you might need a softer bushing setup, doesn't look like the board wants to turn. How long have you been skating?
@Josh Gaudon Yes it was, they are fixed now. I knew how to push around before. I'm on about session 5 now, but this was my first time.
