@BBL Can't be bothered to chop them off, tbh. Plus, they serve as great crash bars for when curbing.

@BBL I ride this board, set up as is, basically the same way with or without the kicks. I could chop the kicks off right now and still ride it the exact same way - as a weighted freeride board. So ...
@BBL A weight makes the double kicks of a double kick pretty much useless, so it was quite illogical that you kept telling me to set it up in the manner of a double kick.
@BBL What part of a weighted-setup do you not understand?
@BBL Your suggestions are illogical. 👎
Got a 3-lb hammer head for this board. Mounted it on with a surfskate bp.
Made a notch in the torque block to lock my foot better for toesides.
Current setup:Trucks:130-140mm spaceable chopped Indy Stage 9's on forged bp's with 2.25" kingpins (same angle as before: front +6 degrees & rear -15 degrees).Bushings:Front: Boardside: cupped ...
Finally stopped procrastinating and made a torque block (out of a 2-layer stack of cutting board). Was a real pain in the butt to cut with a hacksaw, but the end product works pretty great! Locks m...
@Brian Lugbill If you don't know. That's what the weight ballast is for.
@Brian Lugbill That's wobble city.
8.25" street deck redrilled from 14.5" to 16⅜" wheelbase. 40-grit belt sander DIY griptape. Doubled Santa Cruz Slimline rails on each side for extra extra stiffness. Fury 136mm TKP's running variou...
Digging the Rocket and Shangang.
Just a little FYI, I measured the Paris wedge's exact angle, and it's more like 6° rather than 7°.The exact number is = 6.29°edit: I love your choice of topmounting on both the Nexus an...
@Brian Lugbill Actually slides pretty good, ngl.
@Kurt Derow True. But I wouldn't go into ditches with a lowered ballast tho. Ground clearance isn't great.
Tried it out on a decent hill on Christmas. (My friend filmed and edited this.) https://www.instagram.com/reel/DEDE0pYyxJo/?igsh=MW9zMjFta2tzd3FzYw==
@Matt Needs Wheels Okay, thanks. I'll consider getting either the Zing or the Oldschooler. Is it the thickness around the ankles that makes them have better protection? BTW, I can't wear Vans at m...
@Gabriel Fockler True, if they're all kinda the same then I'll probably go for price then. I don't exactly want a barefoot shoe, but I do want a zero drop heel, and my feet are just too wide for n...
Surf skate deck stiffened up with double deck rails and ridden backwards to use the kick as a toe stop. The deck's wheelbase (as measured) is 17.9". I'm running Cuei 24-grit griptape and some 40-gr...
In my hunt for true-leather, high top/mid top, zero-drop barefoot shoes that can be converted to skate shoes with brake soles and a thicker insole, I have narrowed it down to 5 possible candidates ...
