I have a well-loved set of Mach 1 Mags I've been riding off/on for a couple years that are around 70mm now, but it's been a while since I skated a fresh set. I still have a set of Mach1s but just picked up a set of Gallo24s too (from the Wrongboarding shop!)
which would you skate first? Would it be the same choice for racing or freeride?
I haven't raced "seriously" in years, but my first runs on either of these will likely be at the Roan Mountain race in October.
