Left to right:
Cheesegrater:
- Wb: 25.5in (would make smaller if I skated it more)
- Trucks: 165mm Paris v3’s, 50/43 with 81a rs/87a bs, 93/93a respectively w/ pats risers inserts
- Wheels: moonwalkers
- Comments: Kind of a wall piece, the first board I got real comfy on. Did a lot of my first slides on it. Just wish the micro drops were a little closer together. Would definitely sell my soul for a 9.25 wide cheesegrater v3 with a 21 in wb and smaller standing platform. Also not getting it signed by Alex Hannigan when I had the chance is the biggest regret of my life.
Happy carbonara thunder v2:
- Wb: 19.5in
- Trucks:
- Front: 115-125mm valk 3.5 slalom w/ 87a tall barrel krank for racing/going fast, 87a standard barrel hpf for freeride, wedged up to 51 degrees
- Back: 110-128mm DT dh cybin with 95a standard barrel, 97a insert, 95a tall barrel (all HPF) at 22.5 degrees
- Wheels:
- Fast stuff: 85/76a cheetahs, mags
- Freeride: byrons, purple kevos
- Misc:
- Riptide slab footstop
- Very hastily customized venom torque block
- Pats risers AirTag holder with a heinous amount of PLA slapped on top of it to make an improvised tail protector thingy
- Comments: I love this thing to pieces. Perfect concave for me with the wheel flare/w/back micro drop combo. Trucks definitely took a long time to dial in but I think I’ve got em more or less locked down—might fiddle with the back truck angle a little more though. The valk dives like there’s no tomorrow which is why I prefer a standard barrel for freeriding. This setup singlehandedly got me on the tiny weighted board freeride train and I don’t think I can go back to exclusively race style skating anytime soon. Prolly going to switch the trucks out for some zm1’s or scythes before next season and keep the valk/dt combo for rain skating.
Foster mini vulcan:
- Trucks: 158mm cal 3’s at 44/39, 81/85 front, 90/93 back with pats inserts
- Wheels: Rayne envy's
- Misc:
- Pats footstop
- Comments: great chill freeride board. Didn’t think I’d like the wheel flares but now I can’t live without them. Kinda wish there was a closer mounting option up front but that’s just an afternoon and a few holes away from becoming a reality.
Blaze:
- Comments: Pretty much a wall piece now. I really dig the sharp-edged concave up front but just couldn’t make the radial drop feel good—it’d feel like my foot couldn’t really get comfy in a tuck cause of it and it made toesides feel a little weird. I put a prototype wedge implant on the back and got it signed by Alex Hannigan, Tessa Campbell, and Patrick Stoll at soldiers last year. Definitely a personal treasure.
