@hddh_stoked_hippie I live in Bend, mostly freeride but love to downhill and am more than capable of handling my own. I've tracked 43mph but I've gone at least 50. Let's go hit some biggies!!
Does anyone know of an aera hanger and truck chart? I have no clue what sizes are for most aeras
@Matt Needs Wheels it was a dumpster fire of a track. Reminded me of sketchbacks in Portland. Basically chundar hairpins.
@Kurt Derow Was too scared of the track to watch tbh
@Nicolas Tognoli big ones up front, rotate side to side.
Does anyone have a reliable way to start evening out a set of wheels that are significantly different sizes? Rotating is the way to go, but what should I be aiming for in a slide specifically meant...
@Trent Teter i was unable to fit a 5mm spacer on my p2's, they're at 130mm width though so maybe it's different for other axles?
The WDSC(World Downhill Skateboarding Championship) Wales race just concluded and it was a rip! Please discuss below.
@Philipp Murx true, but, sometimes the hand builds aren't perfect either if we as talking about super minor things. To my knowledge, and someone correct me if I'm wrong but deck co's generally are...
@bhr happy thunder and gecko were two fire decks I was looking at
@Sk8bored can you space your wheels on p2 axles? And what axle size do you have? It's so hard to find specs on aeras you'd think they'd include them in the website they sell them
Busy with school, forgot this forum existed SUNDAY CRUISE!! POPPY PLAZA @2PM it's fun and there's water and stuff idk
You can actually look up friction figures on some of the bearing manufacturers websites. You will quickly come to the conclusion that speed wise bearings make no difference at all compared to the g...
At least Rocket and Happy board co. don't do this. Doesn't really make a lot of sense on more complicated layups, but cheap mass produced plywood decks will be stacked. And then once they are ...
stoked to see the edit !
Decks are pressed in stacks between 3 and 5 at a time usually, depending where in the stack they are they will have a very very slightly different concave.
I agree with the pushing up an incline. It keeps you from going faster than you're ready for. I'd also urge patience with yourself. It's really easy to get frustrated during this process but you're...
There's a difference between really cheap bearings and $20 bearings for sure. Beyond that, I agree that wheels will do more for you than a $100 set of ceramics.
Aye also looking back at this, what does the thane feel like if your aloud to share, trying to avoid making the same wheel.
Skate what you are used to for the race!
How you can tell someone started skating post 2018. This setup.
@Trent Teter I have one of the smaller meat grinders (check my roast my setup post if interested) and its phenomenal. I'm sure you can hit up Zach for a custom as well. For the price they're insane...
@Trent Teter time for you to take a look at the Meat Grinder SK... 👀👀
