Do you ever need new grip and you don't want to pay for shipping or wait? We'll do I have a solution for you, 36 grit belt sander paper made by Diablo sold at your local Home Depot. Saw a cone gloves video recommending and installing said sandpaper, so I had to try it. Install is easy just spray the sand paper and deck surface with spray adhesive. Then attach sandpaper apply pressure and you are good to go. This grip is sharp, sharper then lokton and it feels way more durable. Also it only cost me 10 bucks to grip

  • What deck did you try this on? Wondering how this works with complex concaves.

  • @bhr I gripped a landyachtz blaze and also apply it to a torque block

  • We have come full circle back to 2009 griptape

  • @Logan Neikirk I use sanding belts, too. Works great for me.

Another thing that I like about sanding belts: if you look up an abrasives company online, you can find a ton of different options, such as multiple colors, materials, and grits. I'm rocking some 24 grit turquoise ones that look sick and are grippy as hell.
