These are my two setups I use most often. They might look similar but these are setup very different. I'll start with setup on the left,
-happy board co thunder Lorenzo pro with happy torque block, Diablo belt sander belt for griptape street grip everywhere else, cored wheel footstop, and 3lb weight raised with barrel and cone bushings
-zealous slalom v1s with double 78a wfb front and 95.5 tall barrel/ tall fat cone rear. Flat washers all around
-orangatang stimulus 80a with zealous bearings
Tweaked with setup a little bit and decided to try a weight again. Feels great with chattery orangatangs hence stimulus being on this setup. But this board is easy mode even without the weight, the zealous just do what you want so easily. Although I am probably going to try venoms in them again for more stability. Overall I use this setup to maximize my drifts I really feel I can push my wheels to a stop very easily. Other wheels I ride on this setup would be venom dylhep, green krimes, and Rayne envy v2 black
moving to the second setup, keep in mind I didn't buy matching boards on purpose I got this one in a trade. It'd be a little weird if I did tho lol
-happy board co thunder 8.25, same griptape jobs as last board(y'all sleeping on this), Skatetech torque block and footstop
-robot oblivion slalom trucks 50/20 10r(spherical in hanger only), 73a double tall barrel front and 97a tall/ 93a standard rear. Flat washers all around
-blood orange Cole trotta pro with zealous bearings
I wanted to try a very narrow board even narrower then I thought would be comfortable got this in a trade. For trucks I wanted to try spherical trucks and I was debating between these and zm1s and ended up getting a deal on these, amazing trucks btw. When I Got this setup I thought I wasn't going to be able to skate it because of how narrow it was. To my pleasant surprise I can standup slide it quite well in fact I haven't done anything but on this setup. I love how everything on this setup works so well together, narrow truck freeride just feels so good. Currently waiting on bushings for these so I can just run talls all around, the standard in the rear is making my back truck to snappy in hookups for my liking for standups. Other wheels I would ride on this kegels, 71mm race forms, and green krimes
well hopefully I squeezed this one in
