@F Llabata With the cork I feel standies are even easier to initiate and hold than without it. Regarding the proximity to the front truck I've haven't had any issues actually. Have never ended doin...
@Sun they're alright , kinda feel looking towards the scythe weight currently
@Jefe WW thanks !Im using the shortest atm which is at 19"
@bhr Semi- off topic, if you buy slaloms why would you want regular height? You may just be on the wrong trucks for what youre doin
@Logan Neikirk Its the wheel/pave most likely is my guess, what are you riding? Some wheels suck for chattering, and they will honk too if its the wheels, I remember that being more of a issue with...
Sounds awesome! I wish you the best on your project, I'm sure it will turn out great. Any particular reasons why you would want to make your own board or just felt like so?
Really like the look of the Bullet. How does the concave feel and compare to the Rayne?
@F Llabata Sure will and for materials a maple 7 ply core wrapped in fibreglass. I'm vacuumbagging the core and after that I shape the board, add some wheelwells (that align with the wheels this ti...
@Jon LaPlant When messing with the DTs, do you use regular bushings on both boardside and roadside and on both trucks? Also, could you be more specific about why you like them more? I love my Moll...
I have some old zealous that rattle a bit rigt now after years of abuse, I'd say that they wear out just like any other bearing. If you are taking high speeds or just feel like having smooth beari...
@Kasper Vanweser Yoooooooooo now you're cooking! Do a post after you finish it! Any plans on materials yet? Are you going to use just plywood or are you going to add some crispy fibers? Also, how ...
@bhr ive had gold rogues, dt danes, and zealous. The spherical trucks do feel good with them, thats why zm1s are designed with standards. Ive tested the danes both ways and preferred the standards ...
I just stacked some flat washers on top of each other works well. I like it in my gold rouges, it gives the lean a stop.
Pats risers has got what you need
@F Llabata On it, I'm making a board worthy of the trucks. Here is the (skeleton of the) mold. Used this board to figure out the concave.
Been having a weird time recently with bearings, certain wheels feel good with zealous and other wheels chatter like hell. Wondering if it's worth trying bones standard bearings with a spacer or to...
@Jeff Starzl It does look cool hahahhaha, I was hoping those were sold somewhere to buy a couple. I guess they feel exactly like the baseplate, no weird sounds or anything when skating right? Also...
It's criminal to have ZM1s on an old, beat up, chopped, mostly flat board with no/out of place wheel wells but hey, whatever floats your boat.
I NEED THAT BIG ASS STICKER!! Also, seems like someone is scared of blue cones... 🧐🧐🧐
@Spencer Patton Oh yeah, I know it has to be very fun to skate and slide, just maybe too big for a cat.
@Logan Neikirk they are awesome, this is my second set of K4s and second set of inserts. Definitely help with side to side slop.
@F Llabata nah I'll be able to get these to the core. Slalom trucks are where there would be an issue
@Andrew Todd it's wicked, simple but still intriguing I find
How you liking the inserts on the k4s?
